the sidewalk is littered with memories

a prototype for a web app that allows users to record memories of certain locations. the color of each memory is determined by the sentiment of the text, with the exact RGB hue the product of some weighted equation of each emotion. the location of that memory then becomes saturated with that color and the aggregation of any other memory tied to that particular location as well. the idea, or the hope, is that as people leave more of their memories on the streets, a new map of their city emerges, one not dissimilar from the interface of Google Maps, except instead of recording traffic congestion, we are recording emotional congestion.
